Warner Parks’s annual July 4 fireworks display, Rhythm and Booms, brings over 100,000 people to the park for a few hours of spectacular fireworks.
Not everyone loves it, however. For the wild side of Warner, the contrast before, during and after the fireworks, is stark.
This photographic journey includes Warner’s incredibly peaceful kingdom, with deer, birds, geese and other animals enjoying the comfort of an island safe from man and other predators.
We also found an array of firepower reminiscent of a war zone. The fireworks were aimed at the animal kingdom, for reasons of human safety.
