Warner Park is turtle heaven

This spring we’ve seen several types of turtles in Warner Park, including an endangered Blanding’s turtle and lots of painted turtles. Watch for them sunning on logs in the wetland:

Warner Park is turtle heaven - this snapping turtle (Chelydra serpentina) was laying eggs in the lawn at Warner Park. We've also spotted an endangered Blanding's turtle and lots of painted turtles. Watch for them sunning on logs in the wetland. (Tim Nelson June 8, 2013)
